Tenderfoot Theatre: Company in Residence at The Arts Centre, Edge Hill University
Since 2022, Tenderfoot Theatre have been the company in residence at Edge Hill University. Based at Edge Hill's Ormskirk campus, the Tenderfoot team is made up of theatre makers, designers, researchers, and writers with a passion for environmental art - and where better to be based than the green, leafy campus of EHU!
We're working alongside the Creative Arts Department to embed sustainability into the performing arts curriculum, making original work with ecology at its heart - while researching and developing new ways to lower our carbon footprint. From shadow placements to intensive making courses, Edge Hill students have the opportunity to work with us alongside their degree programme, and even get involved with our professional touring work. Join Tenderfoot Theatre for an intensive week long theatre-making lab this March at Edge Hill University.
This year is all about professional portfolio building and getting an insight into working life as a theatre professional!
Applications are open to Edge Hill University students in any year across all Creative Arts programmes, we strongly encourage those interested in all things production, writing, dance, media and acting to get involved.

Looking to gain experience in the professional theatre industry? We have spots open for students to shadow us on our current tour of OutHaus and other events.
